What are diverse communities?

Trauma Recovery Aotearoa recognises that not all communities experience traumatic events in the same way. We aim to support all people in our society, with their individual needs recognised and acknowledged.

Our team is very diverse and between us have shared life experiences that we feel reflect the Diversity of our society.

There are a diverse range of minority groups that may need specialist support. This may be due to:
Age

Ethnicity

Gender

Sexual Identity

Geographical location

Legal Status

Other lifestyle situations.

Please check out our team members to see if there is someone there you think you could relate to.
